Customer Service

Shipping and Handling

  • Flat shipping rate for shipping within North America via US Postal Service (USPS) First Class Insured Mail with Delivery Confirmation:
    • $5.00 Flat Fee for shipping one item within North America, except Hawaii and US Protectorates.
    • $2.00 for shipping each additional item.
    • Orders delivered within New York State will include 8.875% sales tax.
    • Rush Delivery is available upon request at the time of order. Additional charges will apply.
  • Flat shipping rates for international shipping via USPS International First Class Mail:
    • $8.00 to Europe and South America. $12.00 to Australia.
    • Insurance is not available unless order will be shipped Priority or Express mail. Additional charge will apply.
    • Rush Delivery is available upon request at the time of order. Additional charges will apply.
  • Shipping through a different carrier using the customer’s account number is possible as well. Customer must select the service at Checkout and provide the account number for the shipping service selected.
  • Shaya will ship orders in stock within 48 hours of time of payment. Items out of stock may take up to 3 weeks to make and ship.
  • Once the order is mailed, Shaya will send order details and tracking information via email.
  • In the event that an item is damaged in transit, the customer must send us an email within 48 hours to receive a pre-paid shipping label. Item must be mailed back in its original packaging and damaged condition. Shaya will also cover the cost of replacement shipping.

Custom Orders

  • Shaya may accept requests for custom orders based on availability.  Please send us an email with your custom design request.

Returns and Exchanges

  • If a customer is not satisfied for any reason with the items order s/he can return or exchange it within 14 days of date of shipping.
  • Customer must send us an email for full instructions before shipping back the item.
  • Customer is responsible for all shipping costs involved, including insurance and delivery confirmation, to complete the return or exchange.
  • Shaya will not accept a return/exchange if:
    • The item is not in its original packaging and/or shows signs of use.
    • Returned item is damaged during shipping back to studio due to poor packaging.
  • Shaya will not accept return/exchange of any custom orders.
  • NOTE:  Actual pieces may vary slightly from those in the photos, as each piece is made uniquely by hand.

Repairs

  • Shaya will repair our designs free of charge for up to 12 months after purchase, unless there is extra material involved. Shaya will contact customer before starting job with any additional costs.
  • Customer will be responsible for all shipping cost involved in completing the repair.

Missing Earring Policy

  • If you have lost a single earring, we will send you a new pair for the cost of one earring.  Please notify Shaya via email, and we will send you replacement instructions.

Adjustments

  • Adjustments are free of charge as long as there is no additional material used.
  • Customer will be able to specified adjustments on check out in comments box.
  • Customer will be responsible for shipping costs to complete the adjustment.

Packaging

  • All items will be packaged in a clear bag with a Shaya business card.
  • Gift boxes are available upon request on check out.
  • Earrings will include at least 2 pairs of plastic backings (stoppers).
